When British student Johnny Ratcliffe first moved to the Far East, it wasn’t the culture or food that struck him most - it was the clothing. In monsoon conditions, locals would continue to walk and cycle under the protection of a simple, lightweight poncho, remaining completely dry in even the most torrential downpours. It sparked an idea: Johnny would take that concept and refine it for European cities, with a technical, breathable fabric and innovative features like a hidden waistband preventing the poncho from flapping around in wind when cycling. The People’s Poncho was born - and it’s here to stay.
The Hardy Poncho 3.0 is a ludicrously simply but staggeringly effective waterproof layer designed for everyday use. Whether for a festival, walking the dog, cycling to work or SUP’ing around the coast, this lightweight poncho will keep you dry without restricting movement.
